[Details/Reserve]

Founded in 1952, Historic Deerfield is an outdoor museum that presents the history and culture of early New England and the Connecticut River Valley. Visitors can tour 12 carefully-preserved antique houses dating from 1730 to 1850 which sit on a mile-long street laid out in 1671, and explore collections of regional furniture, silver, textiles, and other decorative arts on display in the houses and in the Flynt Center of Early New England Life. The museum's collections include more than 25,000 objects made or used in America between 1650 and 1850. In addition to the structures on the property, there is a footpath—open seasonally—that leads to the Deerfield River, and a garden that contains heirloom plants and herbs used in colonial New England. An map of the grounds is available to download on the website. As the availability of houses and tours may change, please check the website on the day of your visit for details.
